Can someone please help me create a hypothesis?

I think in general hummingbirds prefer brighter colors. You could test this by putting flowers of differing colors side-by-side in an area where hummingbirds are present and counting how many birds went to each color. You should have a 'control' group, meaning devoid of color and you may consider either white or black. This experiment in reality would take several months, even years to complete. . .
