Does anybody know any private lanlords that take DHSS?

Ask in your local council offices, as they have probably got a department that deal with the private landlords. Once they know you are looking and can pay the rent then they will put you in touch, as long as your record for paying and leaving the places tidy is ok. We let a few places and only deal with the council department for private landlords as they do all the paperwork and sort out the rent for us.
