PVC PIPE LEAK IN THE BASEMENT?

I have a PVC pipe leak in the elbow joint (NO CRACK IN PIPE). Kind of like a drip, drip, drip kind of leak. The pipe is connected to the washing machine. My ? is will epoxy puddy do the job in fixing the leak permanentaly. If so, do I have to replace the puddy with new puddy as the years go on.. Due to the puddy drying
